Digitized radio over fiber technology employing hardware implemented NTP technique
We introduce an outline of the digitized radio over fiber (DROF) technology that uses packet-based networks as transmission lines, and hardware-implemented NTP as synchronization technique between master and remote units. The resulting synchronization performance is sufficient for practical applications.
