The principle of the micro grid islanding detection scheme based on the 5-th harmonic voltage content is to judge whether the islanding effect occurs by detecting and comparing the changes of 5-th harmonic voltage content at the common coupling point before and after the blocking filter device. This paper introduces the process of the islanding detection scheme using the blocking filter device and the 5-th harmonic voltage content.
