It is proved that the first and second periods were characterized by the creation of educational institutions for training doctors and pharmacists, primarily at the expense of public initiative. Staff was trained in the process of craft training of students in pharmacies. From the XIX to the beginning of the XX century. training of pharmacists was carried out according to the scheme: apothecary’s student – apothecary’s assistant (gezel) – pharmacist – Master of Pharmacy. It is established that the dynamics of growth in the number of pharmacies contributed to the development of Pharmaceutical Education.
