Visibilización y reconocimiento de los recursos naturales y culturales en espacios del periurbano: Villa María, Córdoba, Argentina

The peri-urban spaces are the zones of transition between the urban and the rural, where phenomena of transformation and high social dynamics unfold. In these systems, complexity is one of the main factors, which by understanding the interrelation between object systems and social actors, allow planning to minimize environmental risks and promote coexistence. The natural physical conditions of each territory must be the baseline to establish municipal planning; likewise, it must contemplate the urban subsystem as the productive and natural subsystems of the territory. The theoretical interpretation of a geographical fact in the peri-urban area of Villa Maria was a appropriate tool as a trigger for the transdisciplinary approach to natural and cultural resources. From the combination of different methodologies, the scheme of the system and the importance of social actors in the territory were obtained.
