E-Glass reinforcement was 0, 1, 3, 5 and 7 percent by weight, TiC reinforcement was 0, 2, 4 and 6 percent by weight, and the composites were made using the gravity die casting technique. Hardness, ultimate tensile strength, and ductility all increase proportionately as reinforcement is increased, with a marginal increase as reinforcement is increased further.
