Spectrum Sharing for Mobile Virtual Networks: A Game Theoretic Approach
Spectrum sharing is widely used to enhance the performance of cognitive radio networks. In this paper, we put forward a spectrum sharing mechanism among multiple Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and multi-user groups using evolutionary game theory. The main challenges arise from a strong need for game theoretic algorithms that operate in the absence of precise SINR knowledge. To account for systems where information of MVNOs is mutually exclusive, a dynamic game model is further proposed. The analysis of stability and simulation results showed that the model achieves near optimal spectrum efficiency.
