The unit cell having a square loop with resistor and a square patch is designed with the help of parametric analysis. The result clearly reflects wide band absorption within 4.2 GHz to 8.8 GHz frequency range. It shows a wide band absorption response required for airborne and surveillance radar absorption applications.
