Pakistan's Legislative Progress on FATF Stipulations in 2020
Since being put on the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) “grey list” in 2018, Pakistan has made great strides in reforming its financial architecture through legislation. The findings of the paper highlight a significant legislative effort, but conclude that lawmaking is only the first step - it is also the enforcement of these laws that will ultimately bring meaningful reform.
