Data Protection Device (DPD) has been implemented both at the software and hardware levels, aiming to protect the information stored within storage media or destroy it in case the devices have been stolen. Apart from the security that the module implements, this project aims to create a comprehensive product that aims to reduce the amount of theft and illegal resale on the second-hand market among personal devices. All these mechanisms are protected by the implementation of a physical component whose role is to verify the application of the instituted measures.
