The layout of the proposed antenna consists of a human face-shaped radiating element and defected ground, and is fed by a microstrip line. The simulation and measured results confirmed the radiation element matched correctly with the ground, which helped the antenna to work over 3.25 to 5.05 GHz (43.4%).
