It based on buck-boost type PFC circuit and auxiliary capacitor-diode-based voltage divider circuit. The capacitors of the auxiliary circuit charge in series through the boost inductor and discharge in parallel through the load. Hence, the proposed convertor has features of high step-down ratio, low voltage-rated bus capacitors, and a wide range of output voltage control. The proposed LED driver was designed for a 60W industrial lighting application, and its operation and performance were evaluated through computer simulations. The obtained results are presented in the paper. The results reveal that the driver has the ability of power factor correction over a wide range of duty cycles. 摘要
