This paper briefly summarizes the development of lasercom and ranging technology. Based on pulse position modulation(PPM), two-way lasercom and ranging are completed, showing the ranging system precision can reach 0.03 centimeters. The self-loop link is proposed to achieve initial calibration to solve the problem of initial random jitter.
