In this paper a mental state transition network is presented and a psychological experiment based on the model is carried out. In this work, we hypothesize that internal mental movements of a human depend on a mental state transition network that is made up of seven discrete emotional states. And we propose a new method to predict the emotional transitional probability distribution by using psychological questionnaires.
