The advantages of multi-channels Aloha and Slotted Aloha scheme are simple structure and low cost. Moreover, optical fiber provides large amount of bandwidth which is far larger than device requirement. In this article, Aloha and Slotted Aloha schemes are proposed for home private optical fiber bus network. Reasons are provided for choosing bus topology instead of star topology and against Carrier Sense Multiple Access (CSMA) as the MAC scheme.
