The sampling technique used was a survey by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The population selected in this study is the SMEs in the city of Surabaya. The number of samples in this study was 36 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The results of this study are that managerial ability is not a partially significant positive effect on technology investment, but managerial knowledge has a significant positive effect on technology investment.
