It defines CDNI to be capable of interconnecting heterogeneous CDNs. We implement an IETF standard-capable CDNI gateway and conduct a CDNI field trial with two major ISPs of South Korea. In this paper, we show how the CDNI gateway interconnects between ISP networks and analyze the traffic reduction rate of CDNI systems on the IX traffic.
