Benefiting from the uniplanar structure of CPW and slotline, the proposed filter could obtain a uniplanar configuration. A novel transition between CPW feeding lines and slotline resonators is introduced, making it convenient to control the external quality factors. The detailed design procedures of the proposed bandpass filter are given. A demonstration filter of this type has been fabricated and measured.
