Domestic and foreign institutions have made many efforts in the technical progress of intelligent navigation development. Before the fully autonomous navigation technology is mature, autonomous ships need to rely on remote driving and monitoring platforms to monitor and control ships. In order to achieve the progress of the ship intelligent navigation, proposed the architecture construction ideas of remote driving and monitoring platforms. The platform construction ideas are provided from the perspective of platform positioning, platform functions, overall architecture, system design and information interaction.
