The work presents a solution that uses devices such as computers, mobile phones and other network attached IoT devices to carry data required for synchronization. The work demonstrates the implementation of an efficient synchronization scheme for bulk media by means of nomadic computing devices. The results demonstrated competitive performance with existing synchronization mechanisms given the users do not anticipate real-time synchronization but nomadic access exists.
