Looking for the human factors in software quality management
This paper draws together two separate threads of research: software quality management, and the motivation of software developers. It raises questions, and does not answer them. The research findings from the motivational studies suggest that software developers may resist the current approaches to software quality management. This paper advocates more research into the human side of software quality management.
