The evaluation was conducted from August 2020 to May 2021 using mixed methods with successive approximations of reality, in order to answer four evaluative questions. The evaluation recognized NCPI as an important auxiliary force in the constitution of the early childhood development field in Brazil, mobilizing a policy community responsible for significant legal and infra-legal achievements.
