An efficient numerical method based on FDTD method is implanted for studying an EMP coupling with some typical compact filter-antennas widely used in the communication systems. Our developed program code is used to capture the responses of the compact filter-antennas. The time-domain induced voltages characteristics of the antenna illuminated by different incident EMPs are shown and compared in detail.
