Semiconductor ring laser gyroscope with improved rotation sensitivity
A novel method of lock-in elimination using electro-optic phase modulator in semiconductor ring laser gyroscope is proposed. It helps in operating the gyro out of the lock-in band, thus improving its sensitivity.
