Bluetooth is a communication protocol enabling low-cost, short-range radio links between mobile phones, mobile PCs, and other portable devices. The Bluetooth standard specifies a 2.4 GHz; frequency-hopped, spread-spectrum system that supports a data rate of 1 Mb/s.
