Feed location effects on miniature microstrip patch antennas bandwidth
This study was performed on slot loaded microstrip patch antennas. Slots reduce antenna resonant frequency and are used for antenna miniaturization. However, as the antenna size is reduced, the feeding becomes more difficult, and input impedance becomes more sensitive to the feed location. In this paper the effects of feed location on input impedance and bandwidth of two types of slot loaded patch antennas are investigated.
