In this paper, a method of object tracking in sports video based on multi template matching is proposed. After preprocessing the video image, the background difference is used to detect the target in the video. Based on the selected benchmark template, the matching template is generated by multi-level geometric transformation and the template updating strategy is formulated. Extract the features of the template and image, and complete the tracking of sports video target by calculating the matching degree between multiple templates and image features. 摘要

基于单模板匹配的视频跟踪方法受单模板形状和变换的影响,导致跟踪误差大,跟踪效果差。提出了一种基于多模板匹配的运动视频目标跟踪方法。对视频图像进行预处理后,利用背景差检测视频中的目标。在选取基准模板的基础上,通过多级几何变换生成匹配模板,并制定模板更新策略。提取模板与图像的特征,通过计算多个模板与图像特征之间的匹配度,完成对运动视频目标的跟踪。通过对比实验,证明了多模板匹配跟踪方法具有跟踪时间短、精度高、跟踪效果好的优点。
