Selection parameters have been developed at the base of egg mass and form for program development of improvement of meat quails reproduction and growth rate. The best egg hatchability and high traits of weight and chick livability up to 5 weeks of age have been established for quails with egg mass 12.1 to 16 grams inclusive and with egg form indices 70 to 76%.
