For solving the coupled problem of electromagnetic field and heat transfer, it has been used the images method that ensure the boundary conditions on two media with different electromagnetic proprieties. The solutions of the performed equations of electromagnetic field and heat transfer are presented in details by taking into account several assumptions. Numerical simulations developed for a case of surface heating of a steel cylinder confirm the obtained results.
