The orthogonal orientation of antenna elements allows us to obtain the isolation of more than 15 dB. The Z-shaped slot incorporated on the ground plane produces the circular polarization and introduction of cDRA of optimized dimensions and aperture coupled feeding helps to obtain wide impedance bandwidth and high efficiency on operating bands. The proposed antenna has three resonating bands of 2.9–3.2 GHz, 3.44–3.64 GHz, and 4.75-5.5 GHz. 3-dB axial ratio bandwidths within the operating bands are 7.54 % and 6.21 % respectively. The MIMO antenna performance is justified by computing the envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) and diversity gain (dB).
