Sandwich piezoelectric transducers of both symmetrical and asymmetrical structure are analyzed. Characteristic parameters of effective electromechanical coupling coefficient, mechanical quality factor and electroacoustic efficiency are optimized. Resonance/anti-resonance frequency is measured and effective electromechanical coupling coefficient is calculated.
