Indoor measurement of UWB-IR propagation channel using time-gating techniques
In this paper investigates a multipath reduction in an IEEE 802.15.4a of the ultra wideband-impulse radio (UWB-IR) propagation channel, which is the spatial-temporal resolution of scattering objects. The existing are widely observed by time dispersion of pulse-shaped transmit signals and their distortion in complex environments. We presented a new approach on UWB-IR complex channel transfer function in an indoor measurement. The time-gating measurement method (TGMM) is approached to suppress the scatter effect of multipath rays tracing, which occurred in the indoor environment. The close-form extension of radar cross section (RCS) results for sample furniture with the vertical and horizontal polarization as depends on antenna under-test (DUT) are shown. The TGMM is very useful to serve for impact of antenna distortion in an impulse radio system by using measurement technique.
