One of the basic applications of television is to give entertainment via cable. Cable companies provide their customers the channels that are broadcasted locally or internationally. Digital Cable TV is fast growing nowadays, but not all companies are ready to adapt to this technology. Analog transmission of cable is still available, however, it is prone to illicit tapping. This study was conducted to detect illicit connections on CATV (Cable Television) lines particularly on analog transmission of signal. The system was conducted on a laboratory scale setup.
