Our study examined how ethnicities and optimism affect coping strategies among Korean, Korean-American, and Caucasian American older men. Data were collected from 310 community-dwelling adults over the age of 65. The findings showed that there was a significant difference in coping strategies among the three groups. Optimism was also significantly related to coping strategies of Koreans and Caucasian Americans. A Comparative Study of Coping Strategies and Optimism among Korean, Korean-American, and Caucasian American Older Men
