A Panel Data Model Study on the Relationship between Regulation of Atmospheric Environment and Economic Growth of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area

Being the first industrialization and modernization region of China, the public can see the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region economic development so fast. But in recent years, the environmental problem, especially the air pollution problem has been more and more important in this area. The deep causes of air pollution in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region has been analysis, which have effects to reform policy, to improve people’s well-being, to promote economic growth. This paper uses panel data model to analyze the environmental and economic data of 2004-2018 years in Beijing Tianjin Hebei. We found that economic growth in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region of the atmospheric pollution reduction has the positive effect is not significant; the use of coal to reduce atmospheric pollution reduction has a significant positive effect. Tianjin’s environmental regulation has achieved initial results; the environmental regulation intensity of Beijing Hebei needs to be strengthened. Finally, based on a series of research results, this paper gives the targeted policy recommendations.
