Investigations into a circular patch antenna in a cylindrical cavity enclosure
An empirical formula for resonant frequency and simplified equivalent circuit model of a microstrip patch antenna in a circular cavity is presented. EEsof Touchstone simulations are used to validate the model. Based on the analysis and measured results different design curves are derived.<>
