The paper presents a technique for the optimization of the leakage reactance of a transformer with multiple windings on the high-voltage side using the finite element method. The analysis of the influence of the number of sections on the leakage reactance on the transformer was performed based on a three-dimensional model of the transformer. One of the calculated values of the leakage reactance is also compared with the experimental method.
