Alâ b. Hadrami's Activities in Administrative, Political, Economic and Military Areas

Following the Hejirah to Madinah, the Prophet of Allah laid the foundations for the construction of a new society there with his actions such as the treaty of Medina, the census, the construction of a mosque that would fulfill many functions in terms of the administrative mechanisms of the new state to be established, and the market he established in Madinah. For the healthy maintenance of this society he created, he determined some duties and commissioned civil servants to fulfill these duties. Each of the Companions of the Prophet had different characteristics and values. Getting to know different personalities in the Companions is important in that it facilitates to make some inferences by taking pictures of that period. Alâ b. Hadrami, a member of Kinde, one of the tribes of Hadramut region, and a Muslim in the early period, although he appeared on the stage of history after the Hudaybiya treaty, he took part in the political, administrative and economic cadres of the state established by the Prophet in Medina due to his qualities, were researched in this study. The prophet assigned Alâ b. Hadrami to some official duties, due to some of his qualifications, at a time when it was not sufficient to be able to read and write only to be appointed to a task, but absolute merit was essential. In the research, some of the issues that caused debate about the bureaucratic duties he performed during the period of the Prophet, Abu Bakr and Umar will be analyzed and will be tried to be clarified bringing the data about Alâ b Hadrami from different sources together.
