In this method, when calculating the radiation pattern of the array antenna, only themutual coupling characteristics between adjacent array elements areconsidered, and the mutual coupling between the distant elements isignored, thereby reducing the number of calculation matrices andspeeding up the calculation speed. Taking the printed dipole arrayantenna as an example, the radiation of 5*5 and 20*20 arrayantennas is analyzed by array element synthesis method. Thesimulation results are consistent with the results of the full-wavemethod, and the gains of the main lobe and the side lobe are basically consistent.
