Radiometric investigation of millimeter wave emissions of surface foam
A novel experimental technique employing artificial bubbles was used to investigate the emissivity of surface foam at 35 GHz. Improvement over previous research was achieved oy focusing the sensing antenna in the Rayleigh region and utilizing controlled bubbles. Experimental data show close agreement with the analytical bubble model.
