The forced Korteweg-de Vries (fKdV) equation is derived by employing the reductive perturbation method to study the characteristic properties of electron acoustic solitary structures. The effect of various physical plasma parameters namely, the temperature ratio, the strength of the magnetic field, superthermality and density of charged particles have been quantitatively analysed. The combined impact of these parameters greatly enhance the characteristics of the solitary structures.
