摘要

传统交换机的查表、排队、调度等工作大多是串行处理的,这使得传统交换机的处理能力成为影响交换机性能的瓶颈。为了优化开关过程,提出了一种新的开关技术——半步前向开关(HFS)。HFS将查表和调度并行处理,减轻了交换节点的工作量,减少了交换节点的时延和时延抖动。仿真结果表明,与传统开关相比,HFS开关的平均延迟降低6.7%,延迟抖动降低8.1%。

Half-step fotward switch in EPFTS
