To analyze the changes and trends in the incidence rate of hospital infection and the coincidence rate of diagnoses on admission and discharge by quality control charts, and to discuss the applicability of quality control charts in hospital management. Method. According to the types of data, the indexes are typed in and analyzed by the SPSS13.0, and the quality control charts are drawn using P charts. Results. The incidence rates of hospital infection are unstable in the past 10 years and beyond the statistical control (upper limit and lower limit of control: 0.0282–0.0318); but the coincidence rates of diagnoses on admission and discharge are stable and within the control range (upper limit and lower limit of control: 0.0057–0.0092). Conclusion.
