The speed of the DC servomotor can be controlled by varying the average value of the armature voltage. The same is achieved using push-pull ZCS-QRC by varying the duty cycle of the switching pulses. The converter employs a zero-current switched full-wave push-pull structure. It allows high power density and full exploitation of the transformer core. An analytical study on zero-current switched full-wave push-pull DC-DC converter is presented in detail. Open loop and closed loop control of DC servomotor using DSP TMS320LF2407 controller is also achieved.
