What hurts? What helps? What is needed? Managerial cognitions about technology and innovation in emerging economies

This paper presents an empirical measurement of managerial attitudes towards technology and innovation. With it, two questions are addressed: are there measurable differences in managerial perceptions about technology and innovation across groups of managers, in particular across managers in developed countries against managers in emerging economies?; and what are the managerial attitudes towards technology and innovation in terms of obstacles, incentive and perceived needs?.
