Workplace Innovations in Digital Age

Modern information and communication technologies and systems with artificial intelligence create opportunities for the establishment of new models of work, for the transformation of work tasks and work organisation by setting new requirements for the knowledge and skills of professionals from different professions. The subject of growing research interest is the innovative changes in the workplace caused by digital technologies. The report discusses the concept of “workplace innovations”, highlights the author’s views on the relationship “Potential of digital technologies - workplace innovations”, presents the results of an empirical study among specialised translation agencies in Varna, Bulgaria, conclusions and recommendations from the study for the formation of innovative jobs in conditions of digitalisation have been formulated.
