This novel model is a combination of the exponential and the Two-Parameter lindley distributions. After exploring the statistical characterization of this model, we estimated its parameters using the maximum likelihood method and the Maximum Product of Spacings Method. The approximate confidence interval, based on a normal approximation is additionally calculated.
