We introduce the basic description of deep learning methods and their applications. A growing interest in promoting and supporting the use of artificial intelligence systems is observed in all major market sectors worldwide, as well as in the public sector. The development of artificial intelligence systems in Slovakia is an important key for innovations in the field of healthcare, digitalization of industry, agriculture, but also other sectors of the Slovak economy.
