Experimental Study on the Non-linear Influence of Environmental Parameters on the Power Loss for the Three-phase Distribution Transformer
Distribution transformer, one of the significant equipment in the power system, is crucial to operating safely and stably. At present, most power equipment takes regular inspection for troubleshooting, which consumes time and labor. According to the working principles of the transformer, we made a theoretical derivation to the power loss of power transformers with a simplified equivalent circuit. Such power loss is mainly determined by the road, and also can be slightly changed by the changes of environmental parameters. Therefore, this paper proposes an empirical experimental scheme for the influence of environmental temperature and humidity on the active power loss of the distribution transformer. The experimental results show the active power loss with the load and environmental parameters of the distribution transformer in real-time operation. Through the comparative analysis of the power loss data of distribution transformers under different loads, temperatures and humidity of environment, we preliminarily verified that the active power loss of a three-phase distribution transformer is affected by its load and environmental parameters, and has a nonlinear correlation.
