The design of the (MV) Power Flow Control Device (PFCD) has been developed and it implements a method for the vector control of network parameters. To test the adequacy of the theoretical propositions a Simulink model of a 6 kV distribution network with MV PFCD has been developed. Studies of the adjustment characteristics (voltages and currents) of MV PFCD semiconductor converters on the basis of the simulation model have been carried out.
