And also provides the efficient capability to control the dynamic disturbances such as transient stability. In the adaptive PI control model the gains of controllers are self-adjusted during a disturbance, when the operational conditions are altered. Such that, the performance always matches a desired response, since the adjustment is independent. This paper presents the STATCOM based adaptive fuzzy controller is implemented in the power system. The proposed controller accomplishes the stability of the voltage against the uncertainties affected by external disturbances. By using this adaptive fuzzy controller the performance of STATCOM is verified through the simulation results and these results are also compared with the conventional and adaptive PI control models. Finally, the results are effective in the proposed adaptive fuzzy controller of the STATCOM.
